Cisco Academy networking courses
Cybersecurity students have a possibility to attend one of the following courses on Spring semester and we hope to have the same possibility available in the following semesters also:
- ITV8060 Computer Network Security (4 EAP)
- Starts from the beginning of April. The proposed time for lecture is on Wednesdays at 8.15 and lab on Friday at 14. Please let us know if you plan to take the course, but it collides with other courses in Tartu.
- It is basically a CCNA Security course for Cybersecurity program
- It is suitable for students with some networking background and command-line experience
- ITV8040 Network Technology I (6 EAP)
- Lecures on Tuesday 14.00 in X-406 at TUT (TTÜ).
- Labs on Friday 12.00 ITC Cisco lab room 415.
- It is basically a CCNA Semester 1+2 course for Cybersecurity program
- It is suitable for students with no background in networking
It will be counted as an optional course in the Specialization module. It will be a free choice course initially, but moved to Specialization module after you get a grade.
Declaration of the courses is opened. OIS may give a warning that you have to pay for the course. You can ignore this. The payment order is cancelled for one course for everybody in the IVCM program.
The courses are given by Truls Tuxen Ringkjob. Labs will take place in Cisco lab at ITC.
